CSM Product Reference.

The product facts a CSM recites on client calls — minimums, lead times, samples, pricing posture, warehousing, decoration, and platform limits — in one scannable place. Built for call prep: scan the table you need, or click through to the canonical Product/Operations page for depth. Companion to CSM Field Notes & FAQ (tactics) — this page is the facts.

How to use this page. The tables are the cheat sheet — enough for a live call. Each section links to its canonical page (Product / Operations), which is always the source of truth if a number here and there ever disagree. Hot numbers are re-verified weekly by /csm-monday-briefing. Always confirm live pricing with sales leadership before quoting.

"What are your minimums?"

Order typeMinimumCanonical
Custom decorated bulk runMOQs commonly 300–1,000+ units (varies by item/supplier)Operations / Bulk Swag
Onboarding / welcome kitsSet per product; quantity breaks seen at 25 / 72 / 144+ — confirm per itemProduct / Catalog
On-demand (print-on-demand)No minimum — produced per redemptionProduct / On-Demand

If a client wants fewer than a product's set minimum, update the product's MOQ in Settings before approving the order. Overrun/underrun tolerance on bulk runs is 5–10%.

"How fast can we get it?"

PathLead timeCanonical
Bulk decorated run15 business days minimum (Ops won't accept shorter); production 15–25 daysOperations / Bulk Swag
Samples / proofsSample 7–10 days; digital proof ~$50Operations / Bulk Swag
Print-on-demand~2–3 weeksOperations / On-Demand
Q4 (Oct–Dec)Runs longer — confirm vendor availability around year-endOperations / Bulk Swag

"Can we see a sample first?"

  • Sample fees $15–$300 (a digital proof is ~$50); often refundable once the bulk MOQ is met.
  • Mark a sample by putting "sample" in the cart name.
  • Net-30 terms can fund a full sample kit during the proofing stage — useful to de-risk a first bulk run. See Field Notes.

"How does pricing work?"

Pricing posture: transparent — the price the customer sees includes shipping, with no separate service fee. Never advertise pricing publicly, and there is no single canonical pricing sheet yet — confirm live pricing with sales leadership before quoting. Canonical: Product / Pricing & Margin.
LeverWhat to know
Warehousing feeWaived with an annual commitment — confirm the waiver before checkout.
Sub-target margin orderAdd the item at its price + a separate "less than minimum fee" line for the shortfall (keeps unit price clean).
Power-bank-only orderCatalog price already includes shipping, so it looks high alone — flag for a pricing review, don't quote blind.
Margin (gifts)The gap between the granted budget and PerkUp's landed cost; never exposed in any UI.

Tactics for the levers above live in Field Notes; the pricing model is in Pricing & Margin.

"Where do you store and ship from?"

PerkUp holds almost no inventory itself — it runs "9 warehouses across 4 continents" via 3PL partners. Topshelf (Greeley, CO) is the primary US partner. Full network, contacts, and recent changes: Operations / Warehouses.

"What about artwork & decoration?"

  • Artwork must be AI (vector) unless Ops says otherwise; capture PMS color codes on the PO.
  • Placement defaults (socks, backpacks, stickers, custom packaging) and the discontinued-item swap: see Field Notes.
  • Canonical decoration + PO rules: Operations / Bulk Swag.

"What can the platform actually do?" (demo questions)

Client asks…AnswerCanonical
Redemption pagesCollect addresses & trigger shipment directly (no CSV); background color customizable (go darker on light themes); Amazon products work; no UI source indicator.Product / Redemption Pages
HRIS / address importShipping-address import from Finch-connected HRIS (admins see full address, managers see "on file"); Rippling needs super-admin access.Product / Integrations
SSOPaid add-on; the included directory sync already covers SOC 2 offboarding — only if IT mandates it.Product / Integrations
New-hire automationRules send swag X days before start (fires if ≥2 days remain); branding defaults to the PerkUp logo if none is set.Product / Automations
