Recipient Experience.
The recipient experience is the other half of the app — what an employee, customer, or event visitor sees when PerkUp sends them something. A core design goal: a recipient can receive and redeem without ever creating an account.
Accepting a reward
A recipient is notified by email or Slack, opens a branded acceptance page, and accepts. From there the path depends on what was sent — a specific gift, a choice within a budget, a spendable balance, or a Perk Card.
Choosing & shopping
When the reward is a choice, the recipient shops:
- Marketplace — gift cards, food, products, and experiences within a budget.
- Swag store — branded merchandise, picking size and color.
- Gift selection — choose one curated gift, including Amazon Business items.
- Redemption pages — a shareable store needing no account; see Redemption Pages.
Spending value
For monetary rewards the recipient sets up a Perk Card prepaid Visa, redeems a branded gift card, or spends a PerkUp Dollars balance inside the marketplace. See Gift Cards & Perk Card.
Account & tracking
A recipient can see their balance, transaction history, and order tracking. Members of a customer with perk programs also submit and track spend requests (my-requests). Event visitors get a lighter path still — scan, play, win, ship; see Events & Games.
