EU & UK catalog.
The EU & UK tab uses the EU catalog ID. It combines EU Sourcing and XD Connects products, both normalized into one PerkUp catalog for European-region bulk swag.
Snapshot
| Customer-facing tab | EU & UK |
| Catalog ID | EU |
| Main inputs | EU Sourcing product API and XD Connects product/pricing/print/stock feeds. |
| Default visibility | Products default to hidden unless PerkUp publishes or overrides them. |
| Currency handling | EU Sourcing prices are converted from EUR to USD in the sync. XD Connects prices arrive as USD net pricing. |
Input Sources
EU Sourcing is a product API. PerkUp fetches product IDs, then pulls product detail and marking data for each item. The feed provides product/variant descriptions, images, colors, prices, stock, and print options.
XD Connects is a separate supplier feed. PerkUp pulls product detail by model code, price tiers, print data, and stock. XD also sends multiple image types, including neutral product images and mood/lifestyle images.
Available vs Stored Data
| Source data available | What PerkUp stores |
|---|---|
| EU Sourcing product names, supplier IDs, category trees, variant colors/sizes/materials, brand, prices in EUR, stock, images, sample pricing, and marking positions/methods. | Cleaned product fields, brand, supplier, material, country of origin, weight, color options, sizes, USD price tiers, stock totals, images, and markings. |
| XD model codes, item descriptions, brand, material, country of origin, colors/hex values, apparel sizes, images, USD net price tiers, print locations, print methods, and stock. | Normalized product records with EU in catalogs, price breaks, color options, sizes, print markings, images, and variant inventory totals. |
| Supplier-level stock can be detailed, but not always in the same format across sources. | PerkUp stores enough stock/status data to support browsing and filtering, but may not preserve every supplier warehouse-level detail. |
AI Enrichment
- AI fills package size when product dimensions are incomplete or hard to compare.
- AI suggests imprint locations when EU Sourcing marking data or XD print data is missing.
- XD image analysis helps tag extra images by view or likely print location, so the catalog can choose better images.
- Most core EU/UK fields still come from supplier feeds. AI is a cleanup layer, not the original source of truth.
Audit Notes
- The tab label says EU & UK, but the internal catalog ID is
EU. - EU Sourcing has a weekly full-catalog refresh pattern. That is different from sources that support cleaner incremental updates.
- XD Connects has code for product, price, print, and stock refreshes, but the current scheduler docs do not list a regular XD scheduler. Treat freshness as something to confirm during the audit.
- Best Sellers can surface in the EU & UK tab, but those products come from Swell rather than EU Sourcing or XD Connects.
