Canada catalog.
The Canada catalog is not a separate supplier feed. It is mostly the Canadian-fulfillment slice of OneSource products: products become Canadian when the source data says they can ship from, or FOB through, Canada.
Snapshot
| Customer-facing tab | CA |
| Catalog ID | CA |
| Main input | OneSource product data with Canadian FOB or warehouse information. |
| Default visibility | Same as OneSource in the US catalog: hidden until curated or explicitly published. |
| Key audit idea | Audit Canada as a fulfillment slice, not as an independent catalog feed. |
Input Sources
The Canada catalog uses OneSource supplier APIs. PerkUp pulls the same product details, media, pricing, decoration options, and inventory data used for US OneSource products. A product is added to the Canada catalog when OneSource returns a Canadian FOB point or warehouse signal.
That means Canadian coverage depends on the quality of supplier fulfillment data. If a supplier does not send Canadian FOB data, the product may stay out of the Canada catalog even if it could theoretically ship to Canada through another path.
Available vs Stored Data
| Source data available | What PerkUp stores |
|---|---|
| OneSource names, descriptions, supplier SKUs, categories, supplier/brand data, dimensions, weight, material, country of origin, and product parts. | The cleaned product name, description, SKU, categories, supplier, brand, material, country of origin, weight, and package size. |
| Images, color information, PMS/hex color values when supplied, inventory by product part, and warehouse/FOB data. | Normalized images, color options, color families, sizes, variant inventory when reliable, stock status, and catalogs containing CA. |
| Pricing and decoration configuration. | PerkUp USD price tiers, markings, decoration level, and starting amount. |
AI Enrichment
- Canada uses the same AI enrichment as OneSource: image classification, color cleanup, category standardization, package size, and fallback imprint locations.
- AI runs selectively because OneSource contains many products. The system focuses enrichment on products that are published or being curated.
- Supplier color data is preferred when it is reliable. AI fills gaps when the feed does not provide clean colors or image-to-color mapping.
Audit Notes
- Most Canada products are shared records with the US catalog. They are not duplicated; they simply include
CAin their catalog list. - Missing Canadian items often point to missing FOB/warehouse data rather than a separate Canada sync failure.
- Best Sellers can surface in the Canada tab, but those records come from Swell, not OneSource.
- The staff-only private catalog can include Canadian products, but it is a curated view, not a separate data source.
